Armin x Reader | Shy

She was quiet and she kept to herself. Nonetheless she was beautiful in every way. From the way her hair shines in the sunlight to her smile that seemed rare these days. She was a treasure that had stolen his heart. Cadet (F/N) (L/N): Rank 3, was truly a gem: one of a kind. The sad thing is that he thought she would never be interested in a guy like him. He knew he wasn't as strong as the others or was he the most attractive nor was he the most charming, but if there was one thing he was confident about: If he had you, he would treat you better than any guy ever has.

Eren and Mikasa noticed Armin's feelings towards you when they saw how he would act when you're close by. For example, when you walk into the room Armin's eyes would widen promptly followed by a heavy shade of pink on his cheeks then he would lower his head, almost like he didn't want to be seen by you. However, you did notice the blonde and the way he interacted around you. You always just thought that he wasn't very fond of you, which hurt your feelings a bit considering you did have a few feelings for him under your quiet surface. You always admired his intelligence and concern for others. Not to mention he was extremely cute, just thinking about his blue eyes made butterflies form in your tummy. The thing is, he never seemed to talk to you or even want to interact with you in any way.

"You should talk to (F/N), Armin." Eren said patting his best friend on the back. Armin looked at Eren with wide eyes and Eren gave him a knowing nod.
"Yeah, we kind of figured out that you had a crush on her." Eren said.
"We?" Armin questioned.
"Mikasa knows too." Eren said and Armin mentally slapped himself. Was he really that obvious? Either way Eren was onto something. Maybe it was a good idea to talk to you. But that familiar feeling in his stomach of nervousness appeared.
"I don't know.." Armin trailed off. The very thought of him confessing his feelings for you made his hands perspire.
"Come on, I believe in you. Any girl would be lucky to have you." Eren reassured. Armin calmed down a bit and nodded his head, taking the advice that Eren gave him. Maybe, just maybe he would build up the courage to talk to you.

Armin was walking down the hallway too caught up in his thoughts to pay attention to his surroundings until someone bumped into him. Snapping out of his thoughts, he looked down to see you on the floor.
"I'm so sorry! I should have been looking! I'm really sorry!" Armin apologized frantically whole holding out his hand for you. You took his hand and he pulled you up from the ground.
"I'm sorry as well. I should have been paying attention." You said quietly. A blush appeared onto his and yours cheeks when you realized that you guys were still holding hands.
"I um- Thanks, I see you around." You mentally face palmed yourself when you heard how embarrassed your sounded. When you started to walk away Armin was having a fight within himself.

"You missed your chance!"
"Go talk to her!"
"She probably hates me now.."
"This will probably be your only shot!"

He was going to do it.

Armin turned around jogged to catch up with you. You felt someone gently grab your hand to stop you. You turned around and was surprised to see Armin looking at you with awaiting eyes.
"Yes, Armin?" You asked looking at him with curiosity in your eyes.
"(F/N), I've been meaning to tell you this for a while now but I was too nervous to," He dry swallowed as he started to feel his confidence erode as your beautiful eyes looked into his. To him it felt like you could see his every thought. "I-I wanted to t-tell you th-that I like you." Armin found the strength within him to confess without passing out.

Your facial expression was unreadable. He didn't know if you were angry or confused.
"Look, I know you probably don't-"
Armin was cut off by your soft plump lips crashing onto his. He was completely shocked but he eventually kissed you back.
You pulled away from his lips slowly and looked at him with a small smile and a light blush.

"I like you too."
